Reconciliation With Creation
"The future we want" and "reconciliation with creation" were the two key themes of Rio +20
summit and General Congregation 35 respectively. "The future we want" for our well-being is
going through a sea-change due to human and natural activities. The humankind has not paid
heed to the Lord's request of "till and take care". Humankind has turned the lands toxic by
indiscriminate use of chemical fertilizers, depleted our ground water resources, pillaged the
wombs of mother earth, destroyed the fragile ecological balance and even polluted the space with
our debris. The earth is groaning and calls for reconciliation with creation.

Healing A Broken World
"Healing a Broken World" describes the rationale of establishing the Task Force
on Jesuit Mission and Ecology (July-November 2010), the general vision that
animates its analysis and recommendations, the context of the world, the
Church and the Society of Jesus today, the relationship of "reconciliation with
creation" with faith, justice, inter-religious and cultural dialogue, and finally
proposes a set of practical recommendations.

We Live In A Broken World
We live in a broken world where men and women are in need of integral healing,
the power for which comes ultimately from God ... God's action does not begin with what we do; already,
in the blessings of creation, God has laid the foundation for what he will accomplish through the graces of redemption.
